          Mutton biryani is a delicious dish made of lamb meat , spices, herbs and yogurt. Tamilnadu style Cuisine very tasty recipes. Simple and easy recipe for mutton biryani made in the pressure cooker. Sidedish for mutton biryani is raita, egg curry, gravy and chukka. Ingredients [ serve for 5people]

 



  • 10 teaspoons of  oil
  • 7 teaspoons of ghee
  • ½ tsp of Anise seed  
  • 4 cinnamon
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 large onion sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Curd
  • 3 tomato
  • 3 chilli
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ cup of Coriander and mint leaves
  • ½ teaspoons of turmeric powder
  • 1teaspoons of red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoons of garam masala
  • ½ teaspoons of coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons of biryani masala
  • 1 teaspoons of cinnamon powder and clove powder
  • Salt as per required
  • Lamb meat - ¾ kg
  • Rice ¾ kg  

 mutton boiled preparation:

     clean lamb meat with water well add with 1/2 teaspoons of tumeric powder. drain water. take a pan add 3tsp of oil, anise seeds 1/4 tsp, 3 cloves add lamb meat, 1/2 tumeric powder, 1 tsp of chilli powder, 1 tsp of garam masala add salt as per required.after drain of lamb meat water add some water and boil it well. check lamb meat gets boiled then transfer to bowl.

soaked rice:
3/4 kg of rice add with water gets soaked for 30mins.


Instructions

1. Heat a pressure cooker  add  oil and ghee after that add anise seeds, cloves and cinnamom seeds


 2. Add onion till gets roasted.

 

3. add tomato and chilli till gets mashed well.


4. add ginger garlic paste saute well.


5. add corainder and mint leaves 


6. add tumeric powder , garam masala, corainder powder,chilli powder, briyani masala, cinnamon and cloves powder mix well in it.




7. add salt as required .




8. add curd and boiled mutton and soaked rice, water. add water in the ratio of 1:2 ie, 1 cup of rice add 2cup of water.



9. close the pressure cooker put weight slow down the flame. after 1whistle off the stove release the pressure. 


10. mix well the briyani and serve with raita, egg curry, gravy. now mutton briyani gets ready.
