I would like to share few tips and suggestions. Use small onion [ chinna vengayam] for healthy and tasty. Add dry red chillies for taste and colourful. Add tamarind for sour taste. Add garlic for digestion. All these made us good aroma and tempting to eat. No need to boil the chutney after blend the chutney paste. If chutney be so spicy add some gingelly oil to it .

Ingredients for kaara chutney:

  • 25 small onion 
  • 15 cloves of garlic
  • 4 dry red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp of tamarind
  • salt as per required.

seasoning or tempering for kaara chutney:
  • 5tsp of gingelly oil
  • 1/4 tsp of mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp of urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp of gram dal 
  • 1springs of curry leaves

preparations:
  1. First peel off the small onion and wash with water and arise it. 
  2. Take dry red chillies 3 to 4 if need add as per taste. then take 1 tablespoons of tamarind for sour taste.
  3. Peel of garlic at the amount of 15 cloves. Add required amount of salt.

Instruction for kaara chutney:
1. Take a blender or mixer add 25 piece of small onion, add 15 cloves of garlic, add 1 tablespoon of tamarind, add dry red chillies, add required amount of salt .   








2. Add some water for grinding the kaara chutney as finely smooth paste and kept aside to the bowl
3.Then seasoning the chutney.  First heat a pan pour gingelly oil then add 1tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tsp of urad dal, 1 tsp of gram dal and 1 springs of curry leaves.       
4. Pour seasoning  to the kaara chutney bowl.








 5.  Now milagai chutney or kaara chutney gets ready now serve with idli, dosa.
